MLA Jewar Noida, Dhirendra Singh was born on 1 November 1966, he is an Indian lawmaker and an individual from the Seventeenth Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. He represents the Jewar (Assembly constituency) of Uttar Pradesh and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He defeated Bahujan Samaj Party three-time MLA Jewar Noida Vedram Bhati by a margin of 22,173 votes.
Early Life And Education-
MLA Dhirendra Singh was born in the town of Rabupura in Gautam Buddha Nagar district to Thakur Heera Singh and Shanti Devi, whose family was a foothold in politics and agriculture. He attended Chaudhary Charan Singh University and received an arts degree in history. He is an alumnus of St. John’s College, Agra.
Political Career-
MLA Dhirendra Singh started his political career as a student leader at St. John’s College in Agra. After gaining membership in the Indian National Congress (INC), he held several positions. He played an active role during Bhatta Parsaul’s peasant movement and came into the limelight during Bhatta Parsaul’s land acquisition movement when he took Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi to the village on his bike and staged mass protests. Dhirendra Singh launched a big movement to change the Land Acquisition Act in India. He was the INC candidate in the 2012 assembly elections but lost the seat with a narrow margin of votes. He left the INC and joined the BJP before the 2017 assembly elections and was elected a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly for the first time.
Effort For Jewar International Airport-
The Uttar Pradesh government is constructing an international airport at Jewar For which land obtaining is proposed in the towns of the Jewar area, however, the neighborhood ranchers would not like to give their territory to the regional organization of Gautam Buddha Nagar. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) told the UP government, the percentage of households have agreed to the land acquisition process is less than the number mandated by the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (LARR) Act, 2013. As the situation worsened, Thakur Dhirendra Singh took the matter into his own hands. The MLA visited the villages. Explain the advantages of the airport to the farmers. After this, along with other places in Rohi, Banwari Bass, Dayanatpur, Kishorepur village, and Jewar, along with Dhirendra Singh met CM Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow and handed over a memorandum of understanding for the land acquisition process. Government Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the officials to expedite the work at Noida International Airport Limited and Gautam Budh Nagar administration greenfield Noida International Airport.
